NORDIC NIGHTS – SATURDAYS IN OCTOBER
Scandinavians need no excuse to celebrate and have a good time – and neither do we! Spring has well and truly sprung, and we are loving the warmer days and longer evenings.
So, to make the most of this time of year, for the month of October only, we’re extending our trading hours to include Saturday evenings.
Our culinary team has been working on some great new spring-inspired dishes, showcasing the best of the season’s produce, and we’ve got a new range of interesting Scandinavian beers to tantalise your tastebuds.
Amager, Denmark, Todd the Axe Man (IPA) $25 A potent IPA loaded with fresh American aroma hops on a base of rich Golden Promise malt, Surly’s signature malt.
Lerving, Norway, Passion Tang (Sour) $20 Fermented on oat rich sour ale with house ale yeast, then added Brettanomyces trois in the secondary fermentation along with passion fruit.
Mikkeller, Denmark (Copenhagen) Heated Seats (Pale Ale) $16 Hazy, sun-stuck straw appearance with an aroma of lemon, melon, pineapple. Flavours of citrus and stone fruit.
The ØI, Denmark (Copenhagen), Chugwork Orange (IPA) $18. Vanilla, orange and lactose swirled together to make a sunny orange creamsicle reminiscent of your childhood, now thankfully reimagined in an alcoholic form.
